I was born and raised in Peterborough and completed both my undergraduate and law degree at Western University. After graduating law school in 2013, I moved to Toronto and worked at a large international law firm and practiced in-house at a large publicly traded insurance company. My practice focused primarily on corporate and commercial, including mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance and commercial contracts. I am happy to come back home and support the community that I love.
I love working with people and making a difference in their lives. The law can be complex and seem overwhelming at times. I enjoy taking some of that stress out of people’s lives so that they have more time to do what makes them happy.
I also love the structure and nuances of the law. I enjoy taking a complex problem and finding a practical, workable solution within the parameters set by the law.
I want the client to feel happy and confident that their legal matter is being taken care of. I want to make sure that clients have the time and energy to focus on their business and personal lives, without having to worry about their legal matters.
In my spare time I enjoy all things outdoors. I love nothing more than hiking, camping and swimming with my husband and our two rescue dogs.
