I was called to the Bar in 1972 and have practiced exclusively in Peterborough since that time. My areas of expertise are real estate, wills and estates. My practice focuses on client services and ensuring that clients are always well informationrmed. I pride myself on caring about my clients a great deal. This approach to the practice of law has grown a very loyal clientele.
My past contributions to the Peterborough community include: Past President of the Community Counselling and Resource Centre, Arbour Theatre, Peterborough Baseball Association (Past President) and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Peterborough (Past President).
Outside of the office, I stay active singing in the Bonachords, Freemasonry, United Services Institute (Past President), Atom Hockey Tournament Arena Chairperson and spending time with my family (especially my grandchildren!).
Meeting with people! After practicing in Peterborough for so long many of our clients have become friends and reconnecting with them or now their children (or grandchildren!) is definitely my favorite part of my job.
When I meet with new clients I enjoy spending time to get to know them as people and not just as whatever their legal transaction is. I believe that this helps the transactions go smoother for them and is much more enjoyable for me!
We all really enjoy what we do together and help out!
We have the same approach to how to treat our clients
We celebrate a lot. It balances the busy and challenging days. To celebrate every 100th file opening we go out for pedicures. It’s fun.
I want to help. I really value knowing that I have helped however that client needs it at the end of the day. After being in practice this long I believe that’s what matters.

Scott is one of the kindest people you will ever meet.
He also loves to wield his red pen when it comes to editing. He loves that red pen a lot.
Scott loves practicing law. We are all looking forward to celebrating the 50th year of his practice in 2022!
