Martha attended the University of Ottawa where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts with Honours (2006) and her Bachelor of Laws Degree (2009). Her Call to the Bar was in 2010. 

Martha articled and worked at well-respected law firms in Ottawa practicing family law, child protection, real estate and wills and estates. She greatly enjoys practicing law and working with and for her clients.

Her experience and talents litigating, negotiating and finding creative solutions led to her being empanelled with both the Family Responsibility Office and the Office of the Children’s Lawyer.

Martha launched Sullivan Law Ptbo in April 2017 after returning to Peterborough where she has deep family roots. She considers it both a privilege and responsibility to practice in Peterborough.

Martha is in the process of completing her training to be a certified Collaborative Family Lawyer and Mediator.

Outside of the office, Martha is likely spending time with her family and friends. Her two young sons are a constant source of laughter and fun in her life.

Little Known Fact: Martha was an active 4-H member as a child and showed cattle.
